H 3484 (2025-2026), which would fully exempt braiders, had not been enacted as of mid-2026; full cosmetology requires 1,500 hours under § 40-13-230.

They do NOT cover chemical services (relaxers, color), cutting, or treatments — those sit under the full cosmetology license everywhere.
